ESDM aims at skill development in the ESDM sector focusing on students/school dropouts at 9th standard onwards, ITI, Diploma. non-engineering graduates, unemployed youth etc. The total number of candidates who will be trained under the Scheme are 90,000. The proposed cumulative targets for each State is 15,000 candidates in a period of four years. Skilling will be provided under 5 Levels split into various Verticals which will have many courses in each head.
