About HSSC
The Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is a Not-for-Profit Organization, under the ambit of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and notified as non-statutory certification body by Govt. of India (Notification No.: 1-34011/07/2015-SDE).
The Council is promoted by CII and NSDC along with known healthcare providers like Apollo, Max, Fortis, AIIMS, Manipal, Medanta, Narayana Health, GE Healthcare, J&J, Pfizer, Maulana Azad Medical College, etc.
HSSC has its operation across India and has close engagements with industry , State Skill Development Mission, Universities /UGC and have training partners in majority of the states across India. HSSC works in collaboration with various Central Ministries such as Health & Family Welfare, Electronics & IT, Rural Development, Minority Affairs, Chemicals and fertilizers, Social Justice & Empowerment, Science & Technology and Defence. It also has close associations with industry bodies and associations such as CAHO, AHPI, IMA, BMESI, CMAI, CII Healthcare Council and Medical Equipment Division.
